Strategic discussions concerning the Referral System (DLI 3) took place during a Coordination Meeting at PMU NHSP on October 28, 2025 Chaired by DGHSS Dr. Waqar Mehmood Memon, along with the PD NHSP Sindh Dr. Sahibjan Badar. The meeting focused on two key areas:
1. Mapping of Functional Referrals: Discussion and planning for the district-level mapping of functional referral pathways.
2. Implementation Strategy: SEIHS presented its findings on the current health facility referral mechanism, and the NHSP team outlined the refined implementation plan.
The meeting saw active participation from our committed partners: 1000 Days, ACASUS, SIEHS, DGHSS, MERF, Pathfinder, and NHSP. This collaborative effort is critical for ensuring patients move smoothly from Primary to Secondary and tertiary care.
