The Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, and Child Health (RMNCH) program conducted a six-day Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness (IMNCI) training from February 24th to March 1st, 2025, at the Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi, with clinical sessions at NICH Karachi. Led by Course Director Dr. Nand Lal and six facilitators. The training equipped 27 healthcare providers from 13 Sindh districts including Badin, Jamshoro, Umerkot, Tharparker, Sujawal, Hyderabad, Kashmore, Larkana, Karachi Malir, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Khairpur to effectively manage childhood illnesses. Participants learned to classify and treat children under five based on symptoms, aiming to reduce morbidity and mortality. The integrated training included theory, role-plays, group discussions, and clinical demonstrations.
