The World Bank Joint Implementation Support Mission (October 15-16, 2025) is currently underway in Lahore, reinforcing our commitment to strengthening Primary Healthcare systems and service delivery across Sindh.
The first day of the mission was highly productive, beginning with a comprehensive presentation on the situation analysis of Primary Health Care in the province by PD NHSP Dr. Sahib Jan Badar.
A deep-dive progress review across key program pillars followed this:
Maternal & Child Health (RMNCH)
TB Case Detection
DHIS2 (Data Management)
Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI)
Financial Progress
The mission underscores the joint commitment to improving Primary Health Care (PHC) in Sindh. The NHSP team was well-represented by high-level officials, including DGHHS Dr. Waqar Mehmood Memon, Director General MMU, PD LHW Program, PD EPI, and senior representatives from PPHI, ACASUS, and the NHSP Financial and Technical teams.
